Topic: Graham Nash Interview
I just watched a fascinating half hour one on one very personal interview with Graham Nash on our local cable channel. We all know the huge influence he and his music have had. Here's a thing you probably never knew.
His mother encouraged him to pursue music and break away from the slum and mining his forebears lives had been. Later in life, he asked her why she had done this. She responded that she had always wanted to be a singer on stage but life took her in a different direction. She was living her dream through Graham. After her death, he had her cremains in a jar. She goes with him in his road box where ever he plays, all over the world. Every famous place he plays, Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall and so on, he takes a bit of her ashes and scatters them there as a memorial to her dream.
How cool is that!
