High drama yesterday.... Andy Murray beats Marcos Baghdatis in a late night thriller! 11.02pm it finished.

Roger Federer also had a close one against J. Benneteau . The Fed, clawed his way back from 2 -0 sets down, to win in the end!

if you missed the Cilic v Querry match, it was a monster in number of games played alone, much less the overall time. I agree that they need to institute a tie-break point system, maybe after it reaches 10-10. Congrats to Mardy Fish, he played with a lot of heart. smile and congrats to Ferrer also advancing. Would it not be very special if he somehow made it to the finals, having to live in Rafe's shadow all the time?

update, Sharapova loses today and my ears get a major break. She is a howling monkey when on the court, all you can do is hit the mute button. plus I've got a terrible case of the HOTS for Lisicki. tongue

I just read that Murray leads Federer 8-7 in their all-time series, which surprised me.  Roger has won their last two meetings, though, and has never lost to Andy in a Grand Slam event...

There will be much weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth in Britain tonight, though Murray has nothing whatsoever to be ashamed of. He's on the top of his game, but had to face the best player of all time on the way to his seventh Wimbledon title.

FedExpress had numerous moments of magic throughout the match, which was over after Murray lost that endless game with eight or nine deuces.

One can only bow deep in awe at Fed's achievements, including recapturing the world no. one slot, something I never thought he would manage again.
