Davy has a new album available from his website (and apparently for sale at his shows). It is called Davy Knowles and Back Door Slam Live from Melbourne Australia.
Very cool for me as I was at that show! It arrived today but I haven't given it a spin yet. I wish he would get going on some new material.
I got it a couple of weeks back and really enjoy it.
Really love Davy, but he seems to be losing a bit of direction over the last twelve months. Which is a bit disappointing.

I just saw him last weekend at the Western Maryland Blues Festival, and during his sound check, someone from the crowd yelled out, "Hey Davy, when are you going back into the studio?"
He answered with a smile, but without missing a beat, "When I'm ready."
So you're obviously not the only one hoping for something new from him.
I have it and it's fun. Sound quality is OK. No question it's from a live show. I do wish he'd learn to speak louder though.
Don and Jocelyn...I hope he's not becoming a snot?!!? He could learn a few things from JB.

Wasn't able to get the live album but found this gem with Rob Drabkin and Davy covering the Allmans' "Melissa". Very well done and one of my favorite ABB songs.
