What people tend to forget is that Stevie had these huge freak of nature hands. His hands could take the punishment more. But even still by the time 1990 came around, he had started going down to 10s sometimes because his hands couldn't take it anymore.

How you achieve your tone is thoroughly up to you. Billy's tone is pure butter. Joe's tone is pure butter. Stevie's tone is pure butter. All three go about it completely different, and all three succeed in thoroughly rocking our faces off. smile
