Topic: Hello from Surrey, UK

I'm a 51 year old and I assume like many (maybe most) here have been playing guitar for many many years. I live in Surrey in the UK and saw Joe for the first time at last year’s High Voltage festival in the UK, although I've been listening to him for a few years, and was blown away by him. I can't believe I took so long to see him live.

I have seen many excellent blues guitarists over the years including Buddy Guy, Rory Gallagher, Peter Green, Gary Moore. I was always a Free (Paul Kossoff) fanatic, but I have to say the IMHO Joe Bonamassa is the cream. He's consumed all of those great guitar players and has now taken Blues/Rock guitar playing to a level that is perfection but still retaining that raw blues edge.

I've just seen him guesting with Jack Bruce and have tickets for his London shows later in the year. Can't wait.

Welcome Jarvss.

I don't play guitar myself but love listening to Joe play his. Others here do and you should enjoy yourself in the gear section.

Have a good time here.

Eyup Jarvss, from oop north. Well, north of where you are anyway.  I too am a guitar player, albeit not a particularly good one, being better on keyboards. I'm a relatively new Joe fan, but I've been listening to what the discerning call 'good music' for years, so Joe's a natural addition to my interests.  So much so that I'll be seeing him in Blackpool later this year.  I too cannot wait!  Welcome to the forum. The more Brits the better!
