Topic: Peer Blues Festival

Who´s going to the Peer Blues Festival this year?

I bought tickets in March in total excitement that the Black Crowes are playing shows in Europe again ... so I´ll be there Sat. July 16. Don´t know where to stay there though - didn´t look for hotels etc. yet. Does anybody know the area or has been there before and has a good tip on where to stay?

I hope some of you are going, because I´m going alone - a nice little forum group to hang out with would be great!

Maybe. Depends whether I'll be on vacation that time.
It's a nice festival.
Normally I stay only for one day, so I have no idea where to stay but they have a camping ground. So, if the whether is okay ... but if it's raining - don't forget your rubber boots.

Re: Peer Blues Festival

Don't know yet, the line-up sounds interesting. But The Black Crowes and Brian Setzer don't perform the same day so I'll have to think about it...

I can't help you with the accommodation, never been there, sorry.

This post, my dear, was written before you made your decision to come along ... so to correct myself: I won´t be going alone anymore ... Yippie!  smile

Re: Peer Blues Festival

Line-up is fixed:

http://www.brbf.be/index.html

Would be an opportunity to see Ian Siegal & The Mudbloods (Cody Dickinson, Andy Graham, Paddy Milner).

Re: Peer Blues Festival

Very cool that Ian Siegal is on Saturday too now - he´s great! My dad and me saw him once and it was such a cool show. Hope he doesn´t play too early.
When Ben gets here in two weeks we´ll try to get a hotel somewhere near.

Have you decided yet whether or nor you´re going?

Eva, Ian said in a radio interview that on his appearence at the Peer festival as well as Cody Dickinson, Luther Dickinson will be joining them on stage. So make sure that you get there on time to see it! smile

The line-up isn't absolutely my cup of coffee, but probably I can't resist to see Ian together with the Youngest Sons.
90 % that I'm going, maybe 99 %.
