So you were listening to Harold Reynolds on ESPN's Baseball Tonight's post game wrap. He immediately did some backtracking about his comment saying I don't mean hit them, just make them get out of the way, move their feet, they're way to comfortable at the plate. The panda was in "the zone" and as he typically does, swung at pitches many hitters take. Buster Posey commented that he's never seen anybody swing at so many bad pitches with so much power in his post game interview. I knew the "particles" were active when that ball hit 3rd base, same thing happened against StL and Hunter Pence's broken bat squib hit are all things that add up to magical scoring opportunities. We made Verlander look mortal, just like in the All-Star game.

Yeah, it's a very patriotic showing. They only had 2 fighters for the NLCS games, but the Giants asked for 4 for the Series and the Navy oblidged. They had the "fluffer" pilot on the news explaining how he guides them in as the anthem ends to get the fly over right on time. He communicates with his pilots by radio from inside the stadium and yes, he gets to stay for the game while the jets return to LeMoore Naval Air Base.

Thanks, Shreddy & Cat, awfully sweet of both of you.  I underestimated arthroscopic surgery and had a wild ride last night.  Couldn't officially fall asleep, just periodic dozing and that only with serious meds.  It is a little bit better this morning which makes me hopeful.

Tink I'm gonna get the headphones hooked up to the iPod and just chill on the couch with my westerns.

Yes, get better and follow her advice, listen to the body talk.  Yes, , but if cleared by your bod, prop 'er up properly if you can and hopefully pain meds keep you somewhat comfortable.
