No, I don't know what the timing on these things is. Folks seem to say that J&R people generally respond quickly; could be they just haven't gotten around to working on the Reading show details yet... one show at a time, I guess!

Paul and the MD gang - I was a little bummed about the seats me and my friend got from ticketmaster, so I called Customer Service today and complained. Don't know if I got lucky (or if someone cancelled at the same time as I called?), but they charged me a teeny bit extra (like $20 per ticket, they gave me full credit for the earlier tickets) and put us in Orch Center, Row G, *dead center* of the stage. Take a look at the seating chart below (scroll to the bottom of the page link). Now I am really excited!! If we have a meet and greet as well as a photo pass, this will be an event to remember. big_smile

Try going to ticketmaster and see if you can get better seats, if so just call them and you might get lucky too....

YESSSSS! YOU ARE AWESOME! Indeed, I did a search online for orch center seats, found two in row G right near the middle (113,114); called and exchanged for ~$10 more per ticket - actually cheaper than the price that was showing online. My previous ones were orch L row ~R. Now why wouldn't these better seats have come up in a "best available" search earlier?

In any case, SWEET! Thank you so much for the tip.

(You can maybe tell I'm excited. wink )

Woo hoo...we're right next to you - 111-112. I wonder how they are releasing seats...why did they release the back seats first? Ticketmaster is always a crapshoot. Mmmm.. I wonder if we wait a little longer, may be we'll get the first row lol

Cool. BTW I might be available/open to a carpool (in my car, I mean), depending on what time we all decide to leave - which as you mentioned, depends on whether anyone gets into a m&g or whatever. And assuming we can find sitters for our kids that can start early enough... we're working on that part. I live in NW Baltimore just off 83 so it'd be pretty much on the way.

Re: Hi from PaulyT

I'm planning on leaving around 2:30 from work (I work near BWI) to avoid any I-83 northbound traffic mess. I have not met my friend from PA for a few months now, so regardless of meet and greet, we plan to meet in Reading for dinner/drinks before the show. There are some decent restaurants in the area per Google, so whatever works. I am driving alone for now, coming back I would have to drive I83-I695-I70-Rte29 to Rte 32 Columbia. If you folks live close to the 695-83 split I would be game to carpool with whoever else (I drive an Acura sedan, if anyone else wants to carpool I can take 3 more people and jam to some JB 'Live from Nowhere in Particular' on the way!!...unless I get the Dustbowl CD delivered by then...)....

I'm glad I checked in here, I didn't previously have a ticket.   I just purchased Row G Orchestra Center, seat 117, my hubby can't go, so I'm driving from the Philly suburbs.  1 month away...great way to kick off Spring Fever!!!   tongue

Thanks for posting the info Bonabuddies!   smile

Re: Hi from PaulyT

Fellow MD Bona-Nuts.....after the excitement of good tickets yesterday, here is some more info and a suggestion - if no M&G exists, and if enough people are game. I'm planning on getting there early for dinner with my friend from PA in any case, and mainly to avoid the I-83 northbound traffic during rush hour.

Please check this out:
http://www.prosportsmedia.com/sovereign … ge_Map.pdf

There are 3 decent restaurants/pubs in the area - who knows, we may bump into JB and the band as well wink

http://www.theuglyoyster.com/

Judys and Speckled Hen are both on 4th and Cherry, 3 blocks from the Sovereign Performing Arts Center which is the venue. Ugly Oyster is around 5th and Cherry. Check out the dinner menus. If enough people (say 8-10, let's keep it civil and relatively small) are game, I can make dinner reservations at either of these places for say, 5:30 PM. That gives us a leisurely 2 hours for dinner, then we stroll over to the theater for the 8 o'clock hour. I'm trying to plan well in advance since I'm sure these restaurants will get crowded before the show.

What say you???? Take a vote on the restaurant and we can have a little entertainment before the show!!

TIA....

I think I will be getting to Reading early enough to avoid traffic and meet up early.  Its almost a year since I've seen Joe & band, can't wait!  smile

Re: Hi from PaulyT

Yeah, I'm up for a dinner or something; hopefully my wife and I can get out of town early enough for something like that. I still haven't given up hope on getting into a M&G, waiting to hear back from J&R on that (and the camera pass).

Woo-hoo, gold status! Ok it's not exactly "BONAMETAL" but I'm working on it...  lol

Re: Hi from PaulyT

Paul - I tried to convince the wife but since it's mid week (and school day + tests etc) she decided to skip, so me and my PA friend are it. Please PM me if you find out about M&G - I'd love to attend as well...if there is not one I'll hang by the bus after the show!!!

Re: Hi from PaulyT

Send an e-mail to Alexis@jr-adventures.com about the M&G; I don't know for sure, but I would guess there's one for each show...

Re: Hi from PaulyT

Well, decided to get myself a better zoom lens (70-210), so I can get some tighter shots. Now all I need's that camera pass... still waiting to hear from J&R, but the show's not for three weeks yet.
