Sad news indeed.

No matter how far you try to push the envelope, it remains stationery

Re: Phil Kennemore RIP

Very sad. There was a benefit in San Jose New Years Eve for Phil which a few Bonabuddies attended. It always saddens me personally when anybody loses the fight with cancer.

Re: Phil Kennemore RIP

This is sad new, I was a big Y&T fan.  Completely under appreciated band and Phil's writing and Bass playing deserved a lot more attention.  They were also a class act and Phil treated all their fans like good friends.

Re: Phil Kennemore RIP

Very sad news.

Seen Y&T more times than I can even count. Phil was ALWAYS a class act.

Re: Phil Kennemore RIP

I know the band well and have been best friends w/ Leonard Haze for over 30 years. Just sent $100.00 today to the Phil Kennemore Fund, along w/ a 10 page letter to his family. Great memories of hanging, jamming and partying w/ Phil. I know times are hard, but please send anything extra one can to the fund. Info on the Y&T site. We saw the first show of the U.S. Tour in Portland last July front and center and we cherrish the fact it was one of his last 6-7 shows.

Kent and I and all the other long term Oregon Y&T fans are truly saddened...We were lucky enough to see one of his last shows.......On a positive note, the new bassist is very apt, but we will always miss Phil...
