Re: Fuzz Face Experience

I love my Analogman Sunface NKT, really musical creamy fuzz. I love it!

Re: Fuzz Face Experience

I'm a huge proponent of the fuzz face. I have the hendrix fuzz and I think it's brilliant...it's like total mayhem in a circle. I also just picked up an old red fuzz face for $40 from a guy on craigslist. Not sure about the date, but it says "Dallas-Arbiter-England" on it, so I know it has a tiny bit of age.

You won't be disappointed if you get a fuzz face. They're fairly cheap in the fuzz world, and you can always swap out transistors etc. to experiment with different tones.

Re: Fuzz Face Experience

I recently scored one of Mike Fuller's 69 "Slight Return" pedals.
It's nice and I like it.
My other pedal is an HBE Ultimate Fuzz Octave. It's good in it's own right.
What ever you decide upon, I'm sure you'll spend lots of time with it tweaking it to your own individual style.

Re: Fuzz Face Experience

Funny, I've been on a total Black Keys kick as of late ("Rubber Factory" - "Stack Shot Billy" is what I'm talkin' bout) and that turned into a total find the right fuzz pedal kick.

Still searching.

Re: Fuzz Face Experience

Well, I'm about TONE. The cosmetics are fun, but I am in search of the ultimate TONE.  My choice for the ultimate fuzz pedal is  "The Germanium Experience". I compared it to the NKT275 Fuzz Face from the 60's, Analogman Sunface, Fultone 69 and others and none have the personality or tone even close to "The Germanium Experience".

Re: Fuzz Face Experience

I can't wait to get a Fuzz. I just haven't decided on one yet.
