Re: Is this the "Goldie" Auction?

So the day has come that Goldie goes up for auction .....

And it seems strange that she's leaving Joe's grasp today, but she had done so much travelling on his early groundbreaking US Tours and also was the guitar he took to The UK & Europe and was his signature picture of him performing live, Goldie also appeared on his early solo albums being played on his epic cuts, and it's time now for her to rest, not in the rock n roll hall of fame, but in a loved enviroment with someone who really wants her

It is a great offer of Joe to put his prized Guitar to this worthy cause, and it will indeed go to someone who is an avid fan of Joe and knows the history of Goldie or a guitar collector that needs it in their collection, someone who is willing to pay 10's of thousands of Dollars must be hugely interested.

and like all the Bonamaniacs here if we had the Funds ..... She Woulda been coming home with me, for all y'all to share in touch view & play

So long Goldie, you'll always have a special piece in my heart, cos you were 50% of the reason why i'm here, your tone from you and your other half, but one day i know you'll hook up with Joe way further on down the road.

Ah, I thought it was probably goldie that he was using so much on New Day Yesterday Live that I just watched, but it didn't have that pinup girl sticker on it then, so I was confused...

Re: Is this the "Goldie" Auction?

Very good Michael. I will have to add the two at Tangier in Akron which may have been the diadem on the crown of Goldie. Among all of Joe's output, these two remain at my personal top. Pain and Sorrow and Reconsider Baby: from another planet.
If I were younger, richer, and looking for an investment, Goldie would be mine! I hope she finds a nice home.
