actually it's J.J. Cale's Cocaine, and they do butcher it to the max. Both are so funny, my son is always showing me stuff he thinks funny, so I played them for him. We laughed until my sides hurt. It is so bad, I feel sorry for them. First, don't think they had any monitors, that may have hurt. The poor drummer did his best to keep up, the guitarist is horrible. Makes me want to take up guitar again, I am certain I could play along with that with very little practice. Gives me hope. It would not be so funny if they had not been serious about it, and the fact that they received some applause. I saw better bands when I was in Jr high school in Arkansas, maybe they could cover Van Morrison's Gloria, would like to hear that. No, nevermind, just a passing thought.

I've got it now. These guys had never played together before, their wives/girlfriends made them do it for the Pink benefit and they went along since there was no choice. Really painful to watch though. I'll bet it was painful for them as well, with a ton of grief from the boys in the bar later.  lol ( I was once "volunteered" to emcee a benefit auction because someone close thought I'd be good at it) roll There won't be a next time!
