Topic: Jeff Beck @ The Albert Hall... 2010

....for those lucky enough to be there... you had a fantastic night!... for those that were not.... shame.. as there were lots of empty seats on the second night.... but the performance was the same... all out Jeff at his best!... such a Legend and unique!... anyway... before i ramble on any further this is kinda what you missed!

I´ve tickets for monday in Stuttgart. Last time I saw him in June when he shared the stage with Joe. I think he and his band were excellent, and I´m hoping for a longer show now.

She was totally beyond amazing at the Crossroads Guitar Festival. Having a side angle view up front, and watching those nimble fingers while engrossed listening also...beyond hypnotically intoxicating and exciting!

I saw Jeff at Preston recently.
Superb.
Disappointing crowd though. Lots of empty seats in an excellent venue.
They missed a gem.

Jeff and his band were playing an absolutely perfect show last night in Stuttgart, fascinating from the first to the last tone. Playing a wide variety of musical styles, each song was 100% Jeff Beck.  The German audience seems to appreciate him more than the English: the venue, a 2500 seats elegant concert hall was sold out. And of course they celebrated him with long, long standing ovations.

That sounds like a very good Jeff Beck show Guenter. One of the masters surely. Did he have the string orchestra backing?

No, he didn´t. It didn´t make me too unhappy. I saw it only at the Albert Hall video. His keyboarder sounded like replacing a whole orchestra easily.

No, he didn´t. It didn´t make me too unhappy. I saw it only at the Albert Hall video. His keyboarder sounded like replacing a whole orchestra easily.

I don't like that orchestrated crap he does, I mean music, he does, major bore.  yikes  "Look art me I'm Sandra Dee",I mean Jeff Beck!  It's just my opinion.  I agree Güenter, his keyboardist easily replaced an orchestra at the Crossroads Guitar Festival, although he had to because of that orchestrated,...music he played there.

Danke, Konzert war schweinegeil. lol

Absolute great and crystal clear sound. It's a really extraordinary band and they were in a very good mood. They got standing ovations when they finished and when they played the encore the people left their seats and went to the stage as far as possible. Great finale. And they played my favourite rollin' and tumblin'.  lol
