Topic: Evening All
Hi all, well I guess I jumped the gun by posting my Cambridge pics before saying hello to everyone and introducing myself.
Brian is the name, but commonly known as badger (I won't bore you with the details). Originally from London but now residing in that tropical paradise known as Essex. I was 21, but now I'm not (and you can keep going up through the 30's and 40's before you get to where I am).
A very long time fan of Joe having first seen him support George Thorogood & The Destroyers at the House Of Blues Las Vegas way back in 2000. Always remembered the name but didn't really get into him in a big way until about 2003. In comparison to many of you though, I'm a complete amateur when it comes to attending shows. I think the total is about 7 or 8 now (3 times this year), but hope many more will be added during future tours. I do my best at spreading the gospel and so far have had a 100% success rate. Have to say though, I hope Joe stays at the level he's at now and never gets into the arena sized shows (but that's a purely selfish view as he [and his wonderful band] deserves to be GIGANTIC)
I was talked into joining the forum by Roger Allen & Pete The Cabbie who I was fortunate enough to meet in Cambridge on Sunday. As you can see by Pete's pictures (and to a lesser extent mine) we had a great spot against the rail, and a great time was had by all.
If those 2 guys are a sample of the people who post here I look forward to meeting many more of you at Joe shows in the coming months & years.
Happy to be here
