01/27 Denver show???

The show was outstanding! This was the first sell out for Joe in Denver (yeah I know, took long enough, eh?). He took the stage right around 10:00 pm, opened with ZZ Top "Just got paid" which morphed into Led Zeppelin.  After that he proceeded to burn the house down.

Late in the set he played 2 or 3 acoustic numbers solo, those were downright amazing! Later still, during a long jam they broke into "Spoonful" for a few bars, and then, I'm not positive, but I swear that they played Rush 2112???! 

They played about until about 11:45 with only a very brief break before the encore.

If I could ask him for two things it would have been:

play "Tea for one" and play MORE STRATOCASTER!

He sounds great on any guitar, don't get me wrong, but when he gets on the strat it just sounds amazing!

A fantastic night! Do yourself a favor, go see Joe!

The Denver show was phenomenal!  I think he should have played just a tad longer, though.  The highlights for me personally were "Mountain Time" and "Walk in My Shadow", but the entire show was great!

He played "Bridge" and "Django" from "You & Me".  I asked him, after the show, when the new album comes out and said in August.  Bummer, I thought it was going to be sooner!
