+1 for the cornell! I have the plexi 7. An absolute tone machine. Miss reverb though!

Do you? I never do. Never really liked reverb when good delay is available. I have an RVV10 in my rack (BOss's RV5 in a rack unit) and I never use it.

I did ask Den if he could mod mine with an FX loop and he said there's not enough room to do it properly. :-(

I would add his customer service is second to none- when I build my pedal board he send me grille cloth and tolex free of charge and would not take a penny depsite me offering....I used the grille cloth for the vents at the back, and when I do the final build (early next yr) I shall cover it in green tolex.

My favourite artist of all time is Neil Young (sorry Joe) so to have a guitar sound with no reverb is strange to me. I'm not drenching the tone in reverb just a splash.

I understand- I tend to get reverb by using my Echodrive- which is an analog delay. But it sounds good enough. Me= huge NY fan too. Old Black is my fave guitar EVER!

I have an epi 56 gold top which I have had and been modding for ten years. It has a firebird pickup in the bridge, p-90 in the neck and a bigsby fitted. It also has a steel pickguard. Never got round to painting it black though. maybe will when i'm finished sorting out the house.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

I find the combination of the Digitech RV-7 HardWire Reverb pedal and the MXR Carbon Copy analogue delay pedal is perfect - either together or singly.

They offers a limitless supply of variations on both these wonderful modulation effects.

I AM NOT YOUNG ENOUGH TO KNOW EVERYTHING

I have the boss reverb pedal and the DD3. I like these 2 together. I have been thinking about adding a gig rig remote loopy for them. Can then replace 2 pedals with one and switch them on and off as required.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

Here's my board.

http://i321.photobucket.com/albums/nn38 … G_4746.jpg

All George L's cables. Powered by a ModTone PowerPlant. The order is Tele>Luther Drive>Oler Audio Odyssey>SHO>Carbon Copy>Delta Lab Chorus>Lemon Squeeze>Tweed Deluxe. The SHO was a gift from a friend. Don't really use it since the Oler Audio pedal is a BOR clone, and has the same boost circuit. Don't really use the compressor too much and that space will get replaced with a Fulltone Supa-Trem that I have on the way. I am also going to replace the SHO space with an Oler Audio clone of the Klon Centaur. I'd love to have a Fulltone TTE instead of the Carbon Copy, but it does the job for now until I have more cash.

Please, call me Austin.

I have the same combination.  That reverb pedal is Very nice and brightens up the rather dark Carbon Copy. -S.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

My humble, homemade pedalboard, which is still kind of a work in progress.

http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/6550/hpim0157u.jpg

Voodoo Labs Pedal Power supplies:

Carl Martin Opto Compressor -> Morely Bad Horsey Wah -> Fulltone Fulldrive 2 -> Voodoo Labs MicroVibe -> Digitech DD-3 Delay

Into a Dr. Z MAZ 38 Studio Deluxe.  I sold a bunch of amps the other year to buy my Les Paul, so the Z is it for me.  I love it, though, and between that and the Fulldrive 2 I get a pretty good range of tones.  Just got the compressor and I'm still figuring it out.

My plans for changing are to remove the Modtone Delay for an MXR Carbon Copy. Get an Xotic AC Booster, Wampler Pinnacle, Ibanez Analogman TS9 with 808 mods, and an Xotic EP Booster.

It goes through a '65RI Fender Twin Reverb. The best amp Fender is making now. IMO smile

A photo - finally! Here is the latest incarnation of my pedalboard:

Dunlop Jerry Cantrell Sig Wah (awesome) > Boss Tuner > Keeley TS-808 > Fulltone Fulldrive 2 > Xotic EP Booster

In Loop: MXR Micro-flanger > DD3 > MIJ Boss CE-2

The Cantrell wah and EP Booster are new additions. The Cantrell wah I selected after narrowing it down to the Fulltone Clyde, and the Cantrell. The adjustable Dark/Bright knob and vocal/throaty howl sold me on it. Best wah I've ever tried IMHO.

The EP Booster everyone knows about. I leave it "ON" 24/7. It's magic.

New additions for 2011 will likely be a Supa-trem and mini Deja-vibe.

Happy New Year folks!

what are your thoughts on your micro flanger? can it do subtle flanging?
keep thinking of getting one whilst there only £60

Fender 60's Strat>Fulltone OCD V4>>TC Electronics Polytune>Orange Dual Terror>Torres 2x10 Cab(with a vintage 30 and a greenback)

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

I reallly like the Micro-flanger. I find it doesn't really do the "subtle" flange-thing - hence my thrist for the Deja-vibe - but it is a fantastic Flanger.

Check out this PGS demo around 1:45 or so see one of my favourite settings.

It is a bargain for the money.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

Speaking of flangers, I've been absolutely GAS'ing HARD for a nice Hendrix/EJ type flanger sound.  As soon as funds allow, I think I'm going to pick up one of the old blue MXR 126 Flanger Doublers that EJ used on "High Landrons".  To me, that is the pinnacle of ultimate flange tone right next to Hendrix's "House Burning Down".  Other options may be the Strymon Orbit or the Foxrox TZF (BIG $$$$$$  sad  )

'67 and '74 Fender Twin Reverbs, '74 Marshall 1987 lead mkII, Metro Superlead 100. Pedals from TC Electronic, Ibanez, Dunlop, BK Butler, Electro-Harmonix, Fulltone, Maestro/Gibson, Loopmaster switching, VoodooLab, Boss. Gibson and Fender guitars, Dimarzio pickups.

To me, there is only one flanger. The greatest and best mod pedal in the history of guitar music ....traaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....the EH Green Script Electric Mistress.

Yes, it has a @#$%^^&# akward power supply.
Yes, it's darn noisy
Yes, it sucks tone and has no true bypass (as some guy called Joe B once pointed out)
Yes, it has an horrendous volume drop issue
Yes, needs soley to go into a buffered, boosted true bypass loop.

But is is honey and the sexiest lushest pedal around.

Justin- IIWY, I'd check out the Hartman. It is a clone of the EM Green Script without the 6 noted issues above and I am told it's awesome.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

Since I got my Jet City head, I am only using the DD3 delay and a Dunlop Original Crybaby wah.

I don't like either the Way Huge Pork Loin or the Digitech Bad Monkey with it.
I find that the pork loin takes out all the clarity and articulation and sloppies it a lot. It doesn't sound anything like Joe's pork loin tone in the premierguitar video....

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

I've rebuilt the rig.

So, here is the re-build. Still not sure about the Lex- although i think it's a matter of tinkering with it..

ST2 is lovely. It's a Klon eater alright!
