Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

So do you also use it to level the volume levels between the two channels I have been playing around with the same thing haven't got it quite right yet. I am assuming you have the EQ infront of the amp and not in the loop.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

Just revamped my rig for a more simple setup:

Guitar -->Morley Bad Horsie 2-->Korg Pitchblack -->BBE Soul Vibe -->Ethos TLE-->Carl Martin Quattro-->amp or direct.  This is a great setup for some Dumble/Marshall tones and the Ethos makes running direct to a PA sound almost (I said "almost") as good as running into an amp.

Guitar: Schecter Solo 6 Limited (p90's), Fender Strat
Amp: Blues Deluxe Reissue, Fender Twin Reverb
Effects:  Morley Bad Horsie 2 Wah --> Korg Pitchblack --> BBE Soul Vibe -->  Ethos TLE--> Jetter GS3 --> MXR Carbon Copy

Okay, I'm in.

Here is mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/progawfer/

Korg Blackout Tuner > Fulltone Supatrem > Fulltone Fulldrive 2 Mosfet > Boss NS2 - in the effects loop MXR Phase 90 > Boss DD3 > BBE Boosta Grande

Works well for me but I'm always switching stuff in and out.  In fact, anyone wants to trade an Ibanez or Maxon Tube Screamer 808 for the FD2 I'm up for it.  Takes up too much space on my board and I never use the boost function.

How do you find running the tremelo pedal before the drive pedals?

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

It could be just me, it just sounded less muddy there.  I'm using a DSL 100 on the crunch channel fairly clean.  When I use the tremelo, it's generally the only pedal on for songs like "Couldn't Stand the Weather" and "If Heartaches Were Nickels"  If you go to my page, you can hear some sound samples.  I'm playing the strat (gold or white) and singing.  Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.  All I can say is it sounds better to my ears :-)

here's  my current board, not much really happening with it.

Guitar>MBM Booster/Bypass Loop>Tube Monster>Amp

this is probably gonna change soon, as i'm trading in my blues deluxe for an orange dual terror.

though plans have been put on hold. had my first physiotherapy session yesterday for my left hand. i've been ordered not to play and wear a wrist splint for 6 weeks. dam you tendinitis! though when it clears up, shouldn't have to suffer again with it.  sad

Looks like you and i are free to play on the same day virtually. we should celebrate by recording the "post-plaster' sessions, a blues-rock  cacophoney of stumbling numb fingers, slow imprecise bends and slurred slurs.

You mean my playing will be back to normal straight away? wink

my strat is egging me on from the corner of the room. "go on, pick me up. playing echoes won't hurt that much mmmwahhahaha!"

might try re-learn floyd lap steel parts, that shouldn't hurt my hand.

Re: The dedicated Joe Bonamassa forum pedalboard thread!

If any of you are interested a Joe Bonamassa signature fuzzface will soon be available from Dunlop in a cool copper color. If I get a release date I'll pass it on, unless Joe would like to spread the news personally.
