thinking of his buddy Bill sitting in cold Chicago with a tear sliding down his face. 
The words, "Well, maybe next year", can be heard eminating fron the dark family room lit only by the fading light of the TV as Bill turns it off and heads to bed.

Wasn't meaning to gloat Roy...I have every expectation that the Bears and Packers seasons will be decided on "the frozen tundra" in Wisconsin at the end of the season. Lotta football left and we have a pretty tough schedule coming up, including playing two teams with the best records in the NFL (Pats and Jets).

I know you weren't gloating Bill, you're still one of my best buddies even though you live on the wrong side of the border. Actually, you, Jon, Steve, Gary, a fellow I know by the name of Dr. Dave, Ellen are all lovely people. AND the Bears are for real! Anyone that doubts that hasn't played against their defense. I'm actually hoping that we can catch up and be tied at the end of the year although, we too have a bit of a tough way to go. It would be fun to have the last game of the year really mean something played outside where the weather can separate the men from the boys. Honestly, I can only wish the best for both teams although, I do like the team to the north of me a little more.

disco, womens bowling night, pitchers of shooters???? sounds great, what's not to like? I resemble that remark Rick. I trust that bear was declawed as well. funny thing about bears in the wild, they do a lot more damage with their claws than teeth, but don't necessarily care if you die before they start chowing down. So if your real unfortunate, you get to watch as the bear eats you.
