I forgot to mention in my last post that a Tulsa gig would be just fine too, if you're listening (reading ) this Jim.
I caught Joe the first time on TV on the "Later with Jools Holland" show, from London. I may have only seen him perform Lonesome Road Blues that first time, but I was blown away! The Music, the TONE, and the Look were talking to me, and I was all ears baby!
I immediately got on Itunes and downloaded the R.A.H. CD, then ordered the DVD not long after.
My brother and I saw him live in Oklahoma City in March. I was not disappointed to say the least.
My only regret was that I didn't get to meet Joe in person. I am not usually much for all of that jazz, but some guys like Joe that don't have a huge ego, I would like to at least shake their hand and say " I dig your work man", thats enough for me.
Autographs, not so much, but pictures, yah.
