Thanks for your replies chaps. The list at the top has been duly updated with your suggestions plus a few more. The London music scene is looking very healthy for this autumn.
Nice one Brack - maybe we should make an extra effort to make the Chantel gig on 18th December at the 100 Club our Xmas gig get-together??? What say you Wooders????
I say, what a spiffing idea, Eldo old chap. I look forward to seeing you at 100 Club in your Santa hat dispensing mince pies and Christmas cheer!

Thanks Roger. Updated and a few more added.
If anyone inside the UK but outside London looks at this list and wants to see one of these artists/bands it may be worth checking their website to see if they are playing near you.

I've updated the Gig Guide with an entry for a free show by Geoff Achison at Charlotte Street Blues on 7th October. Here's what the CSB website says about Geoff:
"A musician of remarkable ability, Geoff has forged his own career path and won fans all over the world. Tonight he is coming to share with us his own unique blues/funk style that can be delicate one moment and explosive the next. With a gritty, soulful quality to his voice, Geoff’s live set features an infectious mix of gutsy original tunes, improvised jams and dynamic new arrangements of blues & soul classics… Don’t miss it!
Free Entrance "
and here's what one of the contributors to Blues Matters magazine said to Duncan about Geoff:
"I've seen most of the world's greatest guitarists from the 60s onwards but what Geoff does with his PRS and without effects amazes me!”
Sounds intriguing.
Thanks for the tip off, Duncan.

Yeah Wooders - Geoff supported Matt Schofield at the 100 Club recently and is well worth checking out at CSB........he also jammed with Matt on a song or two, as I recall.........

I assume this counts as London.
Sounds like an interesting place.
If you get the chance Larry Miller is playing there on the 10th November. I saw him a couple of weeks ago and paid £10.00 for two hours of great blues rock.
The Gig Guide has been updated again with the new ones in red. There's another good reason to see Geoff Achison at CSB on 7th November as Rob Tognoni is also on the bill, as previously mentioned by Maggie.
