Topic: Vince Cunetto Fender Relics

I have found out today one of my strats is a Cunetto CS Fender relic- which seemingly makes it a lot more valuable.

Cunetto is a guy called Vince Cunetto who did all the Fender early relics.

Anyone know anything about this?

Apparently they are very sought after?

Re: Vince Cunetto Fender Relics

VC pretty much started the relic thing, it will certainly add value but all depends on what you got. VC now makes his own range of guitars.
If you are up for selling it let me know, may be intrested.

MBCL-

1996 Mary Kay strat, I've owned it from new, and it was ordered with a 'super' relic finish, the heaviest relic finish I've ever seen. Srl R2248, flame maple neck, cold stamped embossed CS logo on back of headstock. It was finished Sept 1996.
