Topic: Joe in Rotherham 2010

Hi to all Bonamassa Fans

Any one going to the gig Saturday May 29th 2010 at The Magna Centre,.
I have never been to this venue, any one got any comments on the place,
I will be there with brother in laws and the missus, seen Joe already three times and anyone who hasn`t seen him, should!!

Just got back from the Grolsch Blues Festival in Germany and rumours are Joe will probably be there next year.

I'm a local (10 mins door-to-door, woohoo!).

I've never been to a show there, but if anyone wants to make a day of it (JB included), go into the science adventure part of the place.
It's inside an old steel works and is really interesting.  Check out the fire tornado, it kept me mesmerised for a full half hour.

The must see thing is the steel making demonstration/simulation.  It uses the original steelmaking equipment and throws in authentic (loud) sounds and pyrotechnics.  It's pretty accurate (I've seen it for real in working steel plants a few times).

Anyway, I'll be at the show good and early to make sure I can get as close to the front as possible.

Can't wait!

EDIT: I don't work there and am not affiliated with it in any way, although I do work in the steel industry.
