Topic: Crosby Loggins?

Maybe it's been discussed and I just missed it, but it just occured to me that I haven't been hearing anything about Crosby Loggins here. I went to his website and I saw he was with "Jive Label Group" with credits to Sony Music Group, J Records, BMG Music and Arista Records. I take it he opted out of J-R Adventures?

I had also thought his 1st record, "We all go home" was with J-R. It's credited on Allmusic.com as being on Switch St. records. Or maybe I just wasn't really paying attention (that's probably the the most likely scenario of all)  roll

Re: Crosby Loggins?

Crosby was asked to compete on the MTV reality show that had sons and daughters of famous musicians. I can't remember the name of the show. Joe encouraged him to do the show although Crosby was reluctant. Crosby won and part of the prize was a contract with Jive. Jive had to buy out Crosby's contract with J&R. That's the short of it.

Thanks Jim. I knew he had won that MTV thing, but was unaware of the rest of the story.

Re: Crosby Loggins?

The show was titled Rock The Cradle. I thought it was as much of a farce as Idol, I know, some of you think WWE is legit too. Happy for Crosby though having hung out with him when he toured with Joe and finding out we had an old friend in common.
