Now I got to try to figure out how to add a Fulltone 70's fuzz into the mix. I have no idea how to go about that.

I have had issues with fuzzes in the past, especially with huge volume spikes when engaged.  The best way I've incorperated my fuzzes is before the overdrive pedal.  That way if you crank the level or fuzz knob you don't get as dramatic of a volume boost.  If you are running into a clean amp like your Twin I'd probably use the OD side w/o boost on the Fulldrive and then engage the '70.  That way the FD2 is warming up the tone and adding a little help to compress and bring body to the fuzz.  Putting a fuzz straight in front of a super clean Fender can be a little hairy in my experience!  I hope the '70 works for you, I've heard really great things about them.  It's a shame that Mike discontinued both the '69 and '70  sad

Re: finally found the holy grail overdrive

Its funny everywhere I go I see guys using the Fulltone 2 and sound great and when I tried one out I didn't care for it, but just the other day I saw a band and the guy playing has great tone and what does he have a Fulltone 2! Must be me, I got a Carl Martin Hot Drive and boost the OD is only ok but the boost is great, I love that it works seperate so I can boost a clean tone of my amp. But now I am thinking maybe I should give the Fulltone another try maybe bring the Jubilee with me this time.

Re: finally found the holy grail overdrive

I've had my Fulldrive-2 for more than 3 years and it's never left my pedalboard. My Pearl Drive has been shipped this week, so I wonder how well it will mate with the Fulldrive.

Re: finally found the holy grail overdrive

let us know what you think. I had a pearl drive.  It was a great pedal but I traded it for a Vintage Echo from Ocean EFX. Corby was great about that. I use both of my Ocean EFX pedals all the time. They are wonderful.

Re: finally found the holy grail overdrive

does anyone know where i can get a pearl drive in the uk?

Re: finally found the holy grail overdrive

I don't think there's a European distributor. I ordered mine directly with Corby himself.
