Great show and Mr. Parker was smokin himself.  Had himself a little James Brown doo on!  Nice looking guitar and sorry to all who couldn't go.  It's easy to sell a ticket but to give away tickets and have to make hard choices is tough.  I wish I had a ticket to all that responded.  Took a Bonavirgin and he is now Bonabatisted!

What a great show!!!  Dean gave me peek at your guitar, very cool!  He said "that's Doug over there", but later when I turned around to find you, you must have gone to your seat. 

I've never been to a better sounding show nor have I ever walked out of concert w/ out ringing ears.  Just great!  Looking forward to the WV show next weekend!

We waited for Joe after the show until about 10:45 (I think).  Beers were calling so we took off to Bricks.  Did he ever come out to say hi?

Yes he came out about 10:50 for pictures and to autographe peoples items. I had my Black Rock cd signed.
He stayed about 20 minutes. Bobby Parker also visited with people for a few minutes.

He is the coolest guy. He personally responds to every fan post on his FB page. I've been a fan for a loooong time. He still plays around the DC area. A ton of soul. He was tickled pink to be invited to the show by Joe. Those that were there were blessed to see him! cool

A guy in the front row filmed pretty much the whole show, hopefully that'll show up some time.

This was the 1st time I’ve seen the light show and I loved it. It complements the music perfectly.   Excellent set list too. The right mix of fast and slow. Joe and the boys have once again raised the bar. There is no other band that can hold a candle to Joe, Bogie, Carmine, Rick and Joe’s dedicated crew.  They truly love what they do and it shines through every time I see them.   2 more new fans were added as we brought our next door neighbors (bonavirgins) with us. Now they know and have joined us in our addiction! 

Joe mentioned there were 1,400 there with many of them being young folks. The room was full of energy which Joe and the boys feed off of. I have to admit I didn’t know who Bobby Parker was but I’ll never forget him. Wow….that was some serious blues and I enjoyed every second of it especially watching how excited Joe was to be on stage with him. Thank you Roy for capturing the moment and sharing it with us, your videos are outstanding. I looked for you but couldn’t find you in the crowd. 

Some of the highlights for me were Blue and Evil, you’re going to love this live.  Young Man’s Blues gets you moving and the ever changing Woke up Dreaming, Slo Gin and Mountain Time leaves you breathless.  The encores Bird on a Wire that explodes into Just Got Paid leaves you wanting more.  Thanks Joe and company for another memorable concert.  Be safe in your travels.

I was in seat H 102 next to Bob but never saw you and your friends. I arrived at the Lisner about 6:48 and went to my seat about 15 minutes before Joe started to play.

What a great show!  One thing I noticed was that he now plays 3 Music man guitars during the set.  This is near and dear to my heart because I have a John Petrucci Music Man 6 string.  He played the double neck Music man with the baritone upper for The Ballad of John Henry, he played what looked to be a Steve Morse Signature Music Man for Django/Mountain Time, and he played the 25th Anniversary Edition Music Man for Bird on a Wire.

So, on the song he starts his show with, and the song that is probably the overall fan favorite, and on his first encore which replaced Asking Around For You, Joe is playing something other than his Les Pauls.

Is it too much to hope that the Music Man Joe Bonamassa 6 String with be unveiled ar the summner NAMM???

That link, and then another link from that page, both said Joe had the guitar in time for the Royal Albert Hall show, but it wasn't on the DVD.  Did he not get it in time, or did he just opt to use the single neck baritone for the show?

Wow, that was a great show!  I missed the first minute of TBOJH, which is when I assume he played the other half of the double neck because I didn't see him use it the rest of the song sad  Anyone have video of that?

There were some memorable moments in the show....The first was when he brought out Bobby Parker and some guy yelled out "Stevie Ray!?!" and Joe said "Yeah, and Hendrix is coming on next!"  It was also pretty funny in Woke Up Dreaming when he came unplugged and silently said "sh!t".  WTF was going on with the roadie standing on the side of the stage in plain sight of the audience?  That was not necessary.  And when Bobby's guitar got turned on during a song?  I wonder what happened there...

Anyways, I brought a friend to her first Joe show and she was very impressed!

I remember the days when Joe would come through DC 2-3 times a year...I hope he comes back again with Black Country later this year!

Oh, did I mention that I still miss Bogie's extended solo during DnC?

He never played the bottom neck of the double neck, so you didn't miss anything.

I was sitting in row J of the center right orchestra, and saw the guitar tech the whole evening with whichever guitar Joe was going to use next.  It was a little distracting, but I enjoyed seeing it.

Joe was very good-natured about his chord coming unplugged during Woke Up Dreaming.    He took one step a little too far going stage-right, and it just popped out.  Even when Bobby's guitar came on during Django, he never lost his cool, but rather took it in stride and continued to deliver.
