Re: Enough Who Already
I remember seeing The Who at Charlton Athletic Football Ground, London, on 31 May 1976 that was listed as the "Loudest Concert Ever" by the Guinness Book of Records, where the volume level was measured at 126 decibels 32 metres from the stage. (using a Tasco 76,000 watt custom built rig) (the record lasted for over 10 years)
(I believe this has since been beaten by Manowar and others)
At least I got to see the full original line up

The 'support' acts were Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Little Feat, The Outlaws, Streetwalkers, and Widowmaker
I saw them in 1970 in San Francisco in support of Who's Next and the ringing in my left ear lasted for 3 days and we sat in the rear balcony. I was about to see the doctor when it finally ceased, but I'm sure there was a bit of lasting damage........WHAT???
Think Ear Plugs,
