Jonathan at Feline guitars had a great Flying V he made in Korina. I think he has just sold it though.
Might be worth contacting him?
He regularly does Korina Vs and the quality of his output is 1st class
London based though, which may or may not be a problem for you.

PS Joe if you are reading
Great show in Llandudno last Sat - You looked like you enjoyed playing the V the most smile

Re: build your own...

Thanks Matt! I shot him an email, just to see what we can do, but I am located in the States, so I dont know if it will be easy to do. I am also talking to a builder stateside who has a korina v that is about halfway done, and is not spoken for.

Hey Matt
Thankyou so much for the referral .
Yes I love Korina as a tonewood - I mainly make Vs out of it although I have also done a few Les Pauls too

I was loving the look of Joe's V - you posted in the Bare Knuckle forum about the gig and there were some nice pictures.
I regret not making the trip  out to see the gig - as "John Henry" spends a lot of time on the CD player in the workshop.
This is a nice forum - I'll have to visit it more often to catch up on all things Joe

Anyway - Hi Logan - have sent you some pictures and info in an email

Feline Guitars = Win.

Re: build your own...

I ordered my Korina V today!!! I ended up going with Ron Luczak because he is closer to home, and the build time is a lot less than feline, although I go through feline for a korina explorer. Anyway... I should have the V by sometime in February. I think im gonna go with seymour duncan '59 pickups.

Thanks,
Logan
