Topic: Paloma Faith - what a show!

Warning - not blues / rock related!

Was invited to see Paloma Faith last night at the O2 Academy in Liverpool, Joe played there a year or so ago, about 1200 people?

Absolutely knocked out, what a performer, real deal, no question. She laid on a fantastic set, with theatrics, great band, backing singers, lights, the works. I felt truly priviliged to be there to witness the show. Great personality and spot on voice. We paid £11 each for the tickets, worth £40 more - honestly. Her appearance on the Jools Holland show doubled her audience. Now she is selling out everywhere. Catch her if you can - you won't be disappointed.

I'll drop a clip that I took last night on here but in the meantime check these out

Re: Paloma Faith - what a show!

agree with your off-beat(for this forum) taste Geoff, - I saw her on Jools's show and looked her on MooTube, - she has a really interesting wacky video blog thing going on, bought the CD and have to say it has some interesting sounds going on, - clearly a group of good musicians around her, - oh and I find her quirky-ness attractively appealing but don't tell anybody. Would have been good to have seen her in her burlesque entertainer days perhaps?
