Topic: My band Hornet Gun - give a listen

Hey all,

I'm in a rock band called Hornet Gun, local Detroit band. We just recorded 3 demos and tossed them up on MySpace.

All originals. We came in wanting a bluesy rock sound, and some songs have it. Others are more edged rock (but not roll heavy). It's funny, one guy was really influenced by Rush and Detroit local bands, and I was influenced by FooFighters and Joe Bonamassa. We also dig Scott Biram (one man blues from Texas) and some local surf rock stuff... so it turned into a blended thing. We have about 30 minutes worth of music and will likely start gigging next weekend if I can find a venue.

Great Nic, I'll give a listen when I get home as I can't get to MySpace at work. Really want to hear what your blend of music sounds like.

We just added a song called "Blue Sunrise" all original music.
