Topic: Tinsley Ellis in Atlanta, GA Last Night Variety PlayHouse
What an awesome show last night.
This was Tinsley Ellis' cd release party for his latest cd and Tinsley was just burning it last night. With a three piece and playing Fender, Hollowbody and Les Paul Guitars Tinsley was just tearing it. Sadly this show was not the full house it should have been. Tinsley is Atlanta's very own and he certainly deserved a bigger crowd then this. This guy is a real burner. His original compositions pack enough of a wallop and this man can provide fretboard fireworks that light the skies.
But for the price of the seventeen fifty ticket, his encore of Im so Glad and CrossRoads was worth the money alone. And I will get hanged for saying this, but Tinsley set these classics on fire that not even the Cream Reunion could compare too.
I have seen this guy off and on since 1997 and the man can still smoke. If you have any doubts, go see him for yourself.
That is my story. And I will stick to it.
