Topic: From the Charlotte NC area

Hello all,

I just heard Joe this morning for the first time on the Bob and Tom show and for the 3 or so songs that he did, I was blown away.  Seems like a very likeable guy also.  I am a big Bruce Springsteen fan and have been looking for the next thing for me.  I think that Joe may be it.
I hear some Cream, Bad Co. and Led Zep influence in his music besides the flat out rocking blues.
I stopped at 3 stores on the way home from work looking for either his new DVD or a cd of his.  During the show this morning they named some places he will be and Charlotte is one of them.  I may have to go see the show.  Nothing like diving right in.

Does he have a regional stronghold for fans and are tickets generally difficult to get for his shows?

Drones, Hi and welcome first of all.

So you like what you heard and Joe could be 'it'? Have no doubt. He is the 'real deal' and you are going to have sooooo much fun discovering his music and his talent.

Get to a show and soon. Doesn't matter if you haven't bought an album. You will afterwards. This guy will redefine your current perception of how beauty can be created with a guitar......any guitar.

As for regional strongholds, well, we are trying to make the world his oyster but thats a long term project so I reckon tickets can be found. Probably someone on here can help. The Bonabuddies are a living breathing growing global friendly fraternity.

By the way. When you go to that first show. Warn your family and friends. It will be a life changing and life enhancing experience. It could change you forever

Enjoy your time here and post often

Hi Jon, so glad you posted on the forum and I received your email as well.  The best place to go to get Joe's CD's is F.Y.E. at Concord Mills.  They have his complete catalog available.  I would recommend "The Ballad Of John Henry" since it his latest release and he playing some of those songs live. Be sure and get your tickets via ticketmaster for his upcoming show at Ovens.  There are some good seats still available.  You will not be disappointed by going, I will leave it at that!!!
