The Vikings and the Dolphins both need a QB. Who will get Luck in the draft? And is one or both willing to go 0-16 to get him?

You have no idea how much I'm regretting those three early Skins wins.  sad

3-13 is the worst we can do, and it sure looks like that won't be enough. If you saw the Bills game you'll know why I view the remainder of the season with such foreboding.

Where are Kid Rock, Bob Seger, and Ted Nugent when you really need them. Actually it would be cool if they just hired Ted to fire a few rounds on these guys, put him in a skybox. lol

Small chance but our turn to try and knock the Pack off the pedestal. Rivers turn to atone for last week.

8 and 0 after the shoot out with San Diego yesterdy. Man, if the Packers had a defense, this team would be scary good. And after Aaron Rodgers season last year and the first half of this year, people around Wisconsin are starting to ask the question, "Brett Who?"  wink

Funny thing..I stopped looking at about 2 minutes...then seconds...down by four..so I'm writing a mail to George and I look up..WHAT!!! Then the clock hits 0 and it's still us!! NOTHING sweeter than beating Pittsburgh. Now if they could only be consistent!   Fair weather fan  smile

I totally missed this weekend's games live due to my, er, music commitments....and the Ravens game started when I was already collapsed in bed, but I did see the whole game (without ads!) on Monday after Cathy told me what had happened. Great stuff!!  cool

I've given up on the Skins (again) this season. I just wish that they hadn't won those three games early on - don't see them winning another, and three games will be too many to compete in the Suck for Luck stakes.  sad

BJJ - I'm sure that Fins result surprised the entire world of football, not only y'all down in Fla.

You crack me up  lol

I'm kinda of with you that 3 wins may be too high, but the fins won, so keep on hanging in there.
In the Suck for Luck sweepstakes!

It's funny, because I can just picture you watching the Colts and Fins and hoping they win more than their own fans, lol.

I've kind of been bittersweet about this season with all that has gone on with my team now.  Things that are permanent.  But Al Davis said "Just Win Baby" so that is got to be what the goal is.  I was sad to see what happened with Jason Campbell.  He really was starting to come into his own.  He did a great job for the Raiders and I will always appreciate what he did.  Hopefully he can make a complete recovery and if not with the Raiders, I hope he can find a good place to go for him and hopefully not in our division.  Another injury that I just hated this season was to Matt Shaughnessy.  We lost him for the year too and he was being a beast at DE.

So now for the Charger game.

Right now McFadden is still questionable. Would love to have him back, but he can't fix our defense.

That is our no. 1 problem.  Hopefully they can tighten it up just enough to win these games and win the division.  If they do that they may have a chance.  Linebackers and secondary need to step up for the rest of the season to have a chance.  Same with defensive coaching.

But hopefully the Raiders and Chargers can do it up right for the inaugural Thursday Night.

LOL Rick. what does it really say? and what are you saying, you look forward to nickelback representing detroit or do you look forward to a possible Nugent 'assasination?" i couldn't figure that one.
and funny Cathy, I was going to say something about being fair weather fan. I am alwasy a fan but generally not that much into footbal although the past 5 years or so more regularly watch the games. It is a whole lot more fun when we win big though! but the team always has the same level of support. i am more like a fair weather bonamassa forum football thread fan. - i only look here when the Ravens are on top smile
I never look at that faux football thread, lol - just kidding guys and gals!!!!! i know that is real footbal but i still don't care about it  tongue

The best music to ever come out of Michigan came from FLINT Michigan...and I think Mr. Moody's with me on this one...

My reference Jane, was to the point that traditionally that game has been a yawner, designed to lull one into a coma following the stuffing. Some music might keep my eyes open. Beyond that, I defer since it would just get me in hot water again.  lol
