Hi All-

JOE and the band are PLAYING at the WORLD CAFE LIVE for WXPN's Free at Noon on Aug. 14th  This has been confirmed by Management!!

Is this outdoors? Do you have to reserve a free ticket or anything? Are you going?

World Cafe Live is an indoor venue, unless they have an outdoor section I'm not aware of.  By the way, if you do a Google map and click on the camera, you can see the building and surrounding streets... I checked it out once last year, but never went.

SO how many people can get into this venue, and the question then becomes, how long will it take to get a "selllout" if it gets pumped up here AND on the rough n' tough Streets Team gang in Philly?

I'm pretty sure the maxium capacity is 700. World Cafe Live is a great venue, one of my favorites. Awesome atmosphere, excellent sound, I'm soo pumped for the show. I have two tickets reserved!

If I'm gonna do a Joe show the day before the fest, it makes more sense for me to do this one than Penn's Peak, considering it's much earlier in the day and it's free... either one is 2 hours for me... but I'm so much more into beautiful Penn's Peak than dirty old Philly, lol... definitely can't swing both... decisions, decisions... ugh... roll

Ah, it's a 45 minute show, in conjunction with the radio station... definitely not driving 2 hours for that.  Still, very cool for fans who are closer. cool

Starting to pack today to head to World Cafe Live for the matinee show on Friday, then heading up to Penns Peak for the evening show.  After the show, heading to the Hot August Bluesfest.  Hope to say hi to everyone at all the shows.
