Topic: Nice Jazz Festival

Just returned from the Nice Jazz Festival where saw Joe on monday night do an hour set. Joe arrived on stage and had Larengitis and was unable to sing and so brought some "friends to help him out" who did a great job - Paul raferty has a good voice as does Sandy Tong.  Thanks Joe for making the effort to be there having travelled from England specially we really appreciated it!!  Was a fun one hour set and Joe was in good form albeit he could not sing!The festival in its 52st year is in a really unique and special setting.  BB King topped the evening with a really entertaining set going down well with the local crowd - looking forward to your full show in the UK in DEc

Thanks for your review Devonian. What a great night that must have been. I saw BB King recently in Manchester and really enjoyed it.
Joe and BB King in the same night.....brilliant.
Did you get any pics?

Which gig are you going to in Dec......I'm going to Leeds and I can't wait!
