I personally think its cool that GC does this but I don't get it.  Why does the blues need a "king" anyway?  I don't like the whole ideal of making it a "well I'm better then you" kind of thing anyway.  Hell the best players are the ones that can blaze it up and then the next minute play and know how to hold back.  sorta like its what you don't play that counts kinda thing.  I wish everyone the best of luck with this and hope someone from the board wins the whole thing, but old AD3Three ain't gonna give it the time of day.

One of the categories that the judges are supposed to look for is stage presence. I have never seen Joe do anything like putting the guitar between his legs..... and he has infinitely more stage presence than that guy.


BUT, I have nowhere near the ability that the guy in the video does so I can't talk.

alhtough "king" is getting to be an overdone term in music... I DO believe that any way we can promote blues music is great just for that.

Yeah i'm doing it here in Memphis Aug 20th. Ive come in 2nd and 3rd in the past so what the hell,lol.

I just entered I'm up on the 20th in Minneapolis. We'll see what happens I'm excited. Hopefully We'll make it to regional I hope to see some of you guys there!
