Topic: A list of Joe's collaborations with other artists

Hi y'all!

This idea started in another thread but I think it'd be best to have a new one dedicated to it. Basically, I'm curious about all the songs and projects Joe has worked on with other musicians over the years.

I couldn't find a list about this so far and would really like to make one here. I know we're all keen on knowing what Joe's doing, I'm sure it'll be helpful for all the fans. And I bet a lot us were or will be surprised to find out about all these other songs and collaborations. I know I was the last time around. wink

But at this point it'd be absolutely great if you could help me out here. If you know any song Joe's worked on and recorded with someone else could you please list it in a comment? Preferably including the album it's been released on so that we know where to start looking. Bonus and rare tracks are welcome as well. I'll offer some more free cookies, if that helps. wink Thank you!

I can add everything up in this intro post from time to time so that we all have a summary. So far we have --

- "Deep Water Lullaby" with Jim Suhler on Tijuana Bible

- "Highway 27" with Carl Verheyen on Trading 8s

- "The Good Luck You're Having" with Les Paul on Les Paul & Friends - A Tribute To A Legend

- "Clouds On The Horizon" with Walter Trout on Full Circle

Final note, I'm sorry if there already is such a thread. In this case, could you please link me to it?

Guilty!  smile

It's actually called "Blues for Bozo" - the album is Bozo & Pals - Get Down With the Clown.

Yes, you are correct. I downloaded the one song from emusic. Do you have the whole album, or just the one track on there? smile

Re: A list of Joe's collaborations with other artists

Oh wow, Jane you seriously rule, thank you so much! Is there even anything missing from your list, it's awesome.
I definitely put his work with other musicians first but an additional list of compilations where his songs are featured also can't be wrong at all. wink If we come across something we can always add it here, I guess.

In one of your links Ozzy Osbourne's "Under Cover" was mentioned.
The booklet lists both Joe and Bogie but not on which song(s). Does anyone know more about this? Or are we supposed to figure out Joe's guitar playing simply from listening? lol

And I think the "Blues for Bozo" song just killed me from the 30 seconds I've heard. lol I want to listen to that and "Love Conquers All" so much now.
And I'm gonna have a click around Amazon or something to listen to some more songs on that list.

Hey everyone,
Had to skim thru this quickly, at work, so if I'm repeating, I'm sorry....have one compilation of artists with Joe & Gregg Allman together.

Re: A list of Joe's collaborations with other artists

I know this wasn't a collaboration but Joe did the music for a advertisement that was used by the Hallmark Channel. If I remember correctly it was for something like "western days" programming. That happened 2 or 3 years ago.
