I'm flushed with pride here, real late just before bed. I've just uploaded my very first video to youtube! 
It's not the greatest, but it happens to be a world premiere! (Thanks to Marco for converting and making me do it by myself 
)
This was only the second time Dana performed this in public - it will appear on the new cd next year.

Miss Dynamite is around in Germany again. I saw yesterday the start of her German tour. Good looking woman, energetic show, powerful voice, good songs and good band! She is around in Germany and Denmark until middle of April. Go and see her!

A man in your condition needs to be very careful with this sort of stuff, FunkyD! I know what she's doing to my heart and, er.....so I can't imagine how powerful her whammy is hitting you.....if that girl ain't careful she's gonna have issues with her shirt one of these days!
The Mule audience sure 'liked' her.

Sure they dig the music, but its the first time I remember them saying that they were hanging out at the front of the stage. Or maybe they weren't just talking about themselves then?

That's a festival that will cause me some grey hairs.
Joe will play on 4th June in Rüdesheim at the Magic Bike.
And on 5th June there is this Highlands Festival with Dana Fuchs, Jimmy Vaughan, Walter Trout, Eric Steckel & Bas Paardekooper and some others. My only chance to see Dana and Jimmy. Who knows when Jimmy Vaughan will come again to Europe.
Don't know what to do ?
Go to see Joe on 4th June and miss the Highlands Festival?

What a fantastic show yesterday in the Downtown Bluesclub in Hamburg. It's not only Janis Joplin that Dana reminds me on - I thought she is the female Robert Plant!!! And unbelievable but true: WHOLE LOTTA LOVE was the last song of the show . . .

Good news for my friends who live 'down south' - Dana will be appearing at the Parkstad Limburg Theater in Heerlen on June 3.
She will also be at De Kade in Zaandam on June 4, which is more or less around the corner for me, so it looks like I'll get to see her twice!

Well, I couldn't see Grace, but I could see Dana!
FB readers will know what I did last weekend - Friday night in Zaandam, just north of Amsterdam, a mini road trip to see the lovely, charismatic, Dana Fuchs.
Didn't meet anyone I knew, but talked to a gent of my age about Joe, whom he knew all about. He knew nothing about Dana, he just decided on the spur of the moment to check out some live music. I told him what I thought of Dana - later he confirmed that he was gobsmacked and that I hadn't exaggerated her talent and presence!
Talked to Dana after the show and reminded her about our meeting last year. Three kisses and two hugs later she invited me to be her guest at the festival the next day!
Being her guest meant access to all areas, which I took advantage of shoot some (not very good, I'm afraid) pictures from the stage. The really important shots came out fine.
Dana knocked the festival crowd out with another electric set, which started by her being driven through the crowd to the stage in an ancient red Corvette. Neither Dana nor Carter, her drummer, with whom I also spent some time, had ever seen Walter live before. I was lucky enough to watch a fair bit of Walter's set standing in the crowd with Dana. I can tell you that she was most gobsmacked by the quality of Walter's voice, she had no idea he could sing like 'that'.
