Topic: Zappa plays Zappa

Last Saturday I went to ZPZ in Eindhoven and it was great!

We ( Cathy and I), talked about ZPZ more than a year ago. She told me they just had released a DVD, I bought it and it was brilliant, still is.
Cathy saw them live and told me: You must see them when they come and last Saturday it was the moment.

As I always was and still am,  a big fan of Frank Zappa, who I say live 8 times,  I was wondering if Dweezil Zappa's son who is leading ZPZ, could do justice to his fathers music and he could!!
He is a very good guitarplayer and the bandmembers are all topmusicians!
As the story goes: Dweezil stopped playing guitar for 6 months just to study his fathers music, then it took him 2 years to get it all in his fingers.

I want to thank Cathy for her advice and if they come to your neighbourhood: GO!!

It's great to see Franks music being played so brilliantly.

Thanks Cathy and a present is coming to you next week. SURPRISE!!

Another coinkydink. A colleague has brought into the office this morning a USB stick with 28 Zappa albums on it for me. I'm looking forward to being digitally Zapped! Being an old git, all my Zappa is analogue. big_smile

Frank Zappa, the most underated guitarist ever. wink
