Topic: Matt Rach

Have been tracking this Ultra Uber Talented kid from North of Paris France for nearly 3 years now.
And since then he has become the most watched french artist on YouTube
He also has a huge underground following and if you view the video's below you'll see why
plays all instuments and is only i think 18 yrs old now , most of these were taken when he was 15/16.  How can one be oh so musically gifted at such an age
I'm sticking my chin out to say (i believe he is the best guitarist on Mainland Europe)

Check Him Out wink

Re: Matt Rach

Love how the songs start out slow and then all hell breaks loose big_smile

Re: Matt Rach

Ah yes, I've seen quite a lot of his videos...

Not much to say, really good guitar player, I'm not into instrumental rock at all and don't really like his songs. I did listen to instrumental rock a while back though and appreciated his renditions on some songs. I'll stick my chin back out back and say not in a million years can you say he's the best guitar player in Europe, not only are there countless of million guitar players you haven't heard, but mainly because there are so many different genres of playing... Quite possibly maybe one of the better technical/shred style players...

Re: Matt Rach

begging for lyrics in the songs... just seems like there's something missing.

Ask me about my handwound Great Lakes Guitar Pickups
Since 2010, Bonamassa fans have taken advantage of my JB friend discount = my cost + shipping. cool

Re: Matt Rach

Thanks guys for the responses .. ZampraZ i agree there are millions of great guitarists who i may not have heard in all genres , but his cleaness and fluency at that age is quite breathtaking and have not heard the likes of , and i've heard alot of likes of wink
I must agree with Nic that if there were some lyrics crafted into those songs it would be very interesting to hear ... i dont actually go for that instumental rock too much , but this is of the highest quality i believe , and the likes of Joe Satriani  Steve Vai and Eric Johnson do very well with this type of rock/blues , guess Matt could if guided right be the new upcoming artist in this style , to me he has the gift and although he does touch on the shredding technique he has Acoustic and lighter tones on offer with soul and emotion
and although as i said before just guitaring all the time is not my cup of tea , i really like his style of arrangements and delivery
His slower style i'm hearing has some Jeff Beck feel in there too

thanks for lookng though guys
