Re: Beth Hart

Here's a little recap of Beth's show in VA at the Birchmere and shows what cool and amazing people Beth and Scott are. When we were in Lancaster I was able to talk to Beth and request a M&G for a dear friend of mine, Darcey. At the VA show, we met up with Darcey and her husband, Jim. The venue let them in early and they were able to secure us an awesome table inside. We also met up with Jim Clark and his friend Tate so they came in on our ticket and were also able to sit at this prime spot. I was starting to get worried though because Beth was busy with an interview and it seemed like maybe the M&G wouldn't happen for Darcey. With the help of the Birchmere's general manager we were able to get a message to Scott, Beth's husband. Scott came out, talked to us and it was agreed Beth would slip into the seated area through a door in the back where Darcey and Jim were. And sure enough she did. The smile on Darcey's face when Beth came over to her is something I'll cherish forever. Beth put on another great show and Tate, Jim Clark's friend was very sweet and so blown away by what we did for Darcey that he paid for our meals that night. What a nice guy he is. There were just mitzvahs happening left and right, lol!

The Birchmere has really great lighting and sound and I had a perfect vantage point so I filmed the whole show. Beth did a number of songs we had never seen her do and others were done with different arrangements. It was a really great night and a wonderful end to our Beth Hart trifecta.

The concert in Royal Albert Hall was amazing! They blew the albert roof away! It was incredible amazing! The sound was just amazing! And the people who was sitting around me, they didn't even talk, they just enjoy the whole concert!

Glad you had a great time! I saw a picture online of Jeff Beck & Joss Stone standing on the side of the stage. Did either of them perform or were they just there to watch the show?  wink

oh yes, how true,  it was a memorable evening and a beth hart in top form. once she walked through the audience, another time she was on her knees or nearly lying on stage and singing her heart out. all that in one of the nicest venues that exist. i rarely got so many goosebumbs in one concert than last thursday. especially when she came out again when they have allready turn on the Music after the Show. beth came out again an was doing my california. it was amazing from start to end.
the day after that i met my old wishbone ash friends to go to ashcon in chesterfield and we had another great time there. celebrating with one of the best bands ..............what a nice Long Music Weekend i had.

Re: Beth Hart

Could anyone confirm when Beth won Star Search?  Seems like it was 20-21 years ago?

Is there a video of any of her performances on that show anywhere?

Thanks.
