Good to see the seller is happy to accept cash as well as bank wire. I think I have half a mill lying around here somwhere...now where did I put it?

Re: 1959 Burst on Reverb $475k

It was mentioned here, surprisingly no details about it.

We could make a Netflix but "Guitar-flix" where we could all rotate around our guitars. Bonamassa fans only!

Re: 1959 Burst on Reverb $475k

but with 475 people you would get the guitar less than 1 day a year

---------------

(If only I had 1% of Joe's guitar talent)

I would chip in $1,000 to get a '59 Les Paul one day a year for the rest of my life.

I know that Music Man Morse guitars are highly regarded around here from Joe's consistent use of a Dark Lord on Mountain Time - so am sure you guys will appreciate this.

But one of them is for my wife (or so I told her smile ) - because that's just how great of a husband I am!

They're all three Music Mann "Steve Morse" models and are currently en route, so can't post pics of them "in hand" yet, so you'll just have to believe me, OK? wink

Steve Morse Y2D in the color "De-Purple Burst".  Here's an online pic, but mine is more quilted and less flame in the top:

Steve Morse Y2D in the color "Sunset Purple".  Here's an online pic:

And a Steve Morse "Standard" in the VERY rare color "True Gold", with a solid rosewood neck.  Here's a link to the eBay auction I bought it at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251683491317 and a pic:

I've always thought that MM's sunset purple is one of the sexiest finishes ever produced on a guitar.

Re: 1959 Burst on Reverb $475k

kestrou...DANG!!!    And do I see correctly, the True Gold is HSSH?

Now, back to other important matters.  My $1,127.27 is ready to go.  CDN - USD.  Who else nominates me to ensure it's safe delivery to each share holder?

Yup - the "standard" Morse guitar is HSSH - and then has three separate switches for selecting PUPs (insert googley-eyed smiley here!).

And I second the nomination, but I'm not in - so does that count? smile

Only if you live in Canada due to the exchange rate big_smile

Re: 1959 Burst on Reverb $475k

Maybe we could transport the '59 on Joe's tour bus. We would get the guitar as soon as he rolls into town, and we'd have to meet him in the closest town to where he's playing. big_smile
