Just been handed a demo CD by a local, young N.E (England) band, Yellowhex.

Best described as a Psychedelic Britpop, good rhythms, cool vocals and big jangly guitars and a nice touch of slide, not unlike The Church of old. I’m liking what I’m hearing.

Really loving Hypnotic Eye and you are right on with Power drunk and Shadow People. American dream plan B and Fault Lines are excellent as well. It's the Petty of old, great stuff!!

Joanne Shaw Taylor - The Dirty Truth
