Joanne Shaw Taylor on September 3rd at The Iridium in NYC. This is an amazing venue. Intimate, great vibe, really good food and excellent waiters/management/staff. Often half price tickets available through Goldstar.com (free to sign up). Live music 7 nights a week, a good mix of blues and jazz shows.

Hey Kenny! Actually didn't even end up being able to go! My brother and I did't plan very well and went to the box office and they were sold out! LOL We'll sure learn next time!

Quick update - holy cow, Umphrey's was amazing. One show = lifetime fan. They had something for everyone - ridiculous light show, long shredding guitar solos, killer grooves that all the girls were dancing too, extended weird james, tight sing-a-longs... just an awesome, awesome show. Highly recommended if you like eclectic, jam-oriented music. Youtube does not do them justice.

I've been limited on my gig attendance this last year but I have to say the list I drew up for September to December is coming along nicely. There is a lot going on here this last quarter.
Richie Kotzen Hannover 21st Sept
Then Fish, Dana Fuchs and Aynsley Lister and Dan Baird in October
Threshold, Darius Rucker, Martin Barre, Roachford, Rival Sons and Cali Breed in November
Carl Carlton and Greoger Meyle in December

I can't remember looking forward to the Autumn so much in a long time.........

The Black Keys, tonight at KFC Yum Center in Louisville, KY! Will be my third time seeing them looking forward to it! Bought Turn Blue when it came out but haven't listened to it much. It's a good album but hasn't hooked me as much as Brothers and El Camino did after first listen, we'll see if seeing some of it live will peak my interest more??
