Eddie Hinton

I had heard about him, but not really. Eddie was one of those jewels that came and went, flying under the radar. Just recently got into his music and can't believe he never hit it real big. I know the Allmans wanted him in their band and that he was a important writer and session guitarist at Muscle Shoals, but I'm scratching my head at this cat's singing and don't think I've heard a blacker white voice. I've included a nice article about him and will try to put up a couple vids for those interested.

ATTENTION JB Epiphone Owners!!

All of you out there who enjoy the Epiphone JB model as much as I do out there need to know that the included Epiphone strap locks are untrustworthy, I saved my guitar from a headstock-first dive towards the floor by about 2 inches tonight at rehearsal (talk about near death experience!!! Lol). The strap locks after some use don't lock anymore and just slide on and off as they please... So please refrain from using them if you want to keep your prized Epi in one piece!!

I just received an email alert to some rare photos that are for sale at Jimmy Page's new website (jimmypage.com - registration required). Each signed photo is going for 1,000.00 English Pounds or about $1,600.00. Make Joe's lithos seem like a bargain.

Four or five of the photos are of Jimmy and one is just his guitars on stands backstage at one of their concerts.
